Bath & Body Bliss

Some Kind Of Bliss stocks what we consider to be the best Bath & Body gift products around.

We stock the Dickens & Hawthorne Australia ranges which are all Australian Made (apart from the soap – which comes from New Zealand).  In these times that is very unusual, so we want to encourage it to continue.

Over the years people have stopped buying Bath Products as gift items, but we have seen resurgence of this practice over the last couple of years.  How nice is it to be given a box of goodies – full to the brim with bath oil or gel, lotions, massage oil, candles, maybe add some chocolates, champagne, a couple of glasses and a relaxing cd.  Well, now that is a Gift Set I would love to be given.

Our Soaps are lovingly made in New Zealand using only the finest ingredients. The people that have been making our soap have been making soap for over 140 years, so we know they do the best job possible.  Our soaps make a great gift, as they are beautifully packaged and fragranced, and if you are using them for personal use, they are usually large so will last you ages in the shower.

There are arguments all over the web about soap versus body wash, and I have to say I change my mind all the time about which I prefer.  I like the creamy feeling of soap and the holding of it, but I love the bubbles and practicality of a body wash.  You can pick up either product in store and compare the ingredients.  Generally soap will have fewer (which I always take as a good sign), but it depends on the additional ingredients that manufacturers add to give extra benefits.

The Bath & Body Wash we sell is all manufactured in Australia, using Australian base product. Fragrance, colour and additional ingredients like Vitamin E are then added.  Body wash is great if you want that extra bubble feeling – especially in the bath.  I’m not sure it is More Bubbles = Cleaner Body, but that’s what my daughter thinks anyway.  The beauty with a body wash is the storage.  No messy soap dishes and if you drop it, it will generally bounce or float (unless a glass container).

Our Body Butters feel so luxurious you’re not quite sure if you should eat them or put them on your legs! These creams are so thick that even the driest of winter skins can be helped.  The Body Butters are also great for those unsightly cracked heels.  If you prefer a lighter moisturiser then our Body Lotions will be more your cup of tea.  They are delicately fragranced and a nice addition if you are after a fragrance layering effect.

If you need your feet looked after then our special Feet Treats for you.  All enhanced with gorgeous ingredients like peppermint, clove, shea butter and agra shell they are sure to have you wearing open toe shoes all year round.  Our feet look after us all our lives, yet they are one of the body parts that we misuse and not many of us really give them the TLC they need.

Now we all have to look after our Hands! We present them to people to shake, we show them to so many people everyday in shops and bank etc and we touch our loved ones with them.  So nail biting is out the window and caring for your hands is in ladies and gentlemen.  Most of our hand creams come in handy ‘tottles’, perfect for your handbag or car.  They are light to the touch and what I call ‘steering wheel ready’ – what I mean by that is you can apply your hand cream at a set of traffic lights and when the lights go green you can drive again without feeling all slippy on the wheel.  We also stock a great Hand Scrub which is perfect for any gardeners, mechanics etc.  It looks a bit gloopy but my gosh it gets into all the little crevices in your hands and makes them sparkle like new again.

Buy your products from Some Kind Of Bliss, and I can assure you, you will be immersed in Bath & Body Bliss.
