Fragrance Bliss
Some Kind Of Bliss stocks what we consider to be the best home fragrance products around.
We stock the Dickens & Hawthorne Australia ranges which are all Australian Made (apart from the soap – which comes from New Zealand). In these times that is very unusual, so we want to encourage it to continue.
In most of the Dickens & Hawthorne Australia ranges they have included Diffusion Sticks, Candles, Room Sprays and Fragrant Sachets. Some ranges also include Fragrant Oils and Drawer Liners.

A few years ago nobody had even heard of a ‘diffusion stick’ or an ‘aroma reed’ or ‘aroma sticks’ and now they are everywhere!
Don’t be fooled by some of the cheaper versions on the market, you will find they are mostly alcohol and will evaporate at a rapid rate. The Dickens & Hawthorne Australia products have a low alcohol content and high fragrance percentage, so they will last longer than average.
I have had one of the large Purity Tuberose Diffusion Sticks open for over 18months now and I can still smell it; I also have a Veloute Cashmere in a bathroom that is still going strong after 8 months. If you keep the sticks / reeds in a high wind area, such as under an air conditioner or by a window they will evaporate at a faster rate, but usually still less than the majority on the market.
So how do Diffusion Sticks / Aroma Reeds work? Well, they work by the fragrance being absorbed by capillary action up the natural plant fibre reeds. This then releases a rich fragrance to your room. You need to turn the reeds at a minimum once a fortnight (I have to admit I have an alarm that goes off on my iPhone to remind me).
Most people have burnt candles at some time and it can be hard to find that perfect fragrance – well this is where we can help you. Once you have found a Dickens & Hawthorne Australia fragrance that you like, you’ll never look again. All the candles are hand poured (by Rosa) with soy wax and again have a high fragrance percentage so you will get that delightful scent wafting all around you.
The fact that they use Soy is not only great for the performance and look of the candle (it is softer than most waxes), it’s great for the environment. Soy is a renewable resource, so the soy that is in the candle you buy today, has probably come from a field that has already grown more.

Gone are the days when a Room Fragrance / Room Spray was something that was only kept in the bathroom. These days with the gorgeous fragrances available they are great to have around the house or office for a quick fragrance burst. The small misters allow a light spritz of fragrance to hit the air and disperse around the room. Some fragrances will even help set the mood of a room (lavender for example, will calm the senses of most).
Do you remember when your grandmother had a little packet of dried rose or lavender in her wardrobe? I do, and I can tell you I prefer the newer version of Fragrant Drawer Sachets. They are so handy, and smell great – again they come in most of the fabulous Dickens & Hawthorne Australia fragrances. Here is a little hint – I keep one hanging in my car, for a subtle long lasting fragrance.
Buy your products from Some Kind Of Bliss, and I can assure you, you will be surrounded by Fragrance Bliss.
